The First ….

The first Real Grade (RG) ever made has arrived to my hangar hohoho….and this is also my first collection of the legendary RX-78-2 Gundam model kit.

The box-art is really awesome. It is an exclusively brand new design I think. Bandai launched this new grade (before this, 1/144 is only for High Grade gunpla) as a part of the 30th years of Gunpla celebration.

As I opened the box, there are so many parts, and the stickers are also just like a Master Grade version with slightly small scale. The manual book is well arranged and designed, but I think I will have to analyze it throughly several times as a friend of mine who has already owned this kit told me that you MUST pay more attention to the manual book due to its newly designed kit.

Well I still have my HGUC Unicorn on-going project…could not finished it last week because of my overload working time….

And this one is my first Souchaku Henshin Figuarts a.k.a SHF figure. It’s the goldy Shocker Rider The Next.

Actually, I have also searched for the other The Next ver, Kamen Rider Ichigo, Nigo, and also V3, but as for now, this is the only one I could find. And by the way, the boxart shown on the back of the package is six of them. Yes, it looks like forcing the collector to buy another five Shocker Riders to make a diorama as shown on the movie when Kamen Rider Ichigo was taken down by the six of Shocker Riders…lol…yeah yeah…I will consider about buying another five…tsk…tsk…tsk…

Another Green Poison From Figma Lines…

Just a few hours ago my brother gave me a link which shows several previews from Black Rock Shooter anime antagonist. Please take a look below, and you shall know who I mean

It’s Dead Master. From what I heard, she was once a frined of the main protagonist, the blue-eyed girl, Kuroi Mato. She looks cool with two skull head followers.

Look at that scythe-typed weapon. It made her looked like a female grim-reaper with her head accessory (it resembles Bandai BB Sengokuden Tokugawa Ieyasu if I’m not mistaken lol).

Those cute little wings on her back fit her skinny body lol. Her skirt resembles to what a maid wears if I see it from back. Her fingers design amplifies the skull aura.

And, YES, this figure has great posabilty. In my highly opinion, Figma Black Rock Shooter and Figma Dead Master are some of the best designed figma lines ever. Aside from this beautiful design, I actually have pre-ordered the BRS, so I shall pre-ordered this too. A must have figure lol. By the way, Figma BRS release schedule got delayed to August 2010. Oh man…

Eastcoast, Pakuwon City: A Glance of Singapore in East Surabaya [Part 1]

This time, I want to share soem of my experience when visiting this “Surabaya’s Singapore”. So about a month ago, I went to Eastcoast Residence (further shortly mentioned as “Eastcoast” only) to pay a visit to the room which my bro had bought it. Before we reached the apartment, we dropped a visit at San Antonio Residence which is the outer section of Eastcoast. Below are the pictures taken on the spot.

I brought this little fellow along with me, so I decided to also take the moments he admired the gorgeousness of this residence.

This hude complex was designed with a percentage of, let’s say, almost 40 out of 100, for green ecosystem. It is rarely to watch green scenery in this city. So it is great to have such a “home” there. We used Panasonic Lumix DCM FX-36 to take all of the pictures. And thanks to the cloudy sky, I could maximize this photo session chance.

This was what Keroro-taicho enjoyed at the moment I captured his picture. The garden is also designed with combination of modern and roman style decoration.

Sorry Drossel, I forgot mentioning that she was also coming with us. I remembered that time when she sat alone enjoying its calm situation with singing birds almost found everywhere.

Kemang Icon: Art-chitecture

When I put my first step inside the building, the atmosphere was suddenly changed. I felt like being inside an abstract world. There were so many asymmetricity here and there.

“To make Architecture gets along with Art” is merely the concept of the building owner. Picture below is the hallway after I put my first step into the building.

As you can see, the left and right side, are not symmetrically built, as well as the roof section, they are not divided evenly.

This is the second tenant [perimeter]. Its logo is uniquely designed so that every person who sees it will easily remember it.

“WOW !!” That’s the first word which came into my mind. Very unique, and elegant. It is almost 90% built of glasses. Unfortunately, IMHO, its space is too small for five-leveled building.

This section is on the third level which was designed with the combination of  library and lounge concept. The lightning environment is not too bright, but it is enough to light up whoever wants to read the books, and at the same time, it also gives a warmth and breeze atmosphere.

On the top fifth floor, apparently, it is divided into indoor and outdoor sections, and the picture above is the outdoor part. It is very classy and again, uniquely designed. The tile is constructed of half of wood and stone. I bet, in the evening, the environment will be so romantic for couple. By the way, refering to the Feng Shui, the only element I could not find here is fire. LoL. Wait a minute…where is the water element ?

In addition to the Feng Shui elements, I present to you, the beautiful pool, which is also located on the rooftop of the building. Unaccidentally, I was able to capture this lovely moment. I couldn’t believe there is a place like this in the most crowded megapolitan city, Jakarta. As you can see, the scenery was so warm and calm, just like being on the slope of a mountain.

Well, this is for now. I hope I can visit this art-chitecture place again some other time and perpetuate more moments there. Until my next journey

Rudolf’s Got Ignited

Rudolf has got blown up eh ? LOL..no no no…the right one is Rudolf’s Gouf Ignited. It is a Bandai HG (High Grade) gunpla kit from GUNDAM SEED series released in January 2008.

Currently, I’m preparing my MVR Evangelion images review. So in the mean while, I want to share my first fully-painted gunpla kit. By the way, here’s the box art if you are still confused

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics of the unboxing process, so I will directly to the finished kit phase review. Below is the first picture along with its detail specification.

For this kit, I used mixed color paints, but mainly Tamiya Acrylic color paint, except for the white parts, I used RJ London White which I extract into an empty bottle before pouring it into my airbrush.

Luckily, slight dry-decal were included within the package. They are on the skirts, the forehead, and the shields. There are also a few stickers included, which are on the chest, the eye (without “s” due to its monoeye ) and the backpack. Oh by the way, one of the curved-horns on the shoulder had once fallen down and wrecked when I dried the prime layer. My friend did that, oh my. Anyway, please enjoy more pictures of it.

For the backpack part, I had used RJ London Clear Doff Lacquer, and it made the backpack looked like been painted smoothly. The orange and the logo sticker had also seemed “blended” with the part, thanks to the spray. And for the panel lines, I used Gundam Marker and I lined them before spraying it with the RJ London.

Movie Realization Evangelion: Eva-01 Test Type [Part 1]

Several months ago, I went to my friend’s house to pick up my RJ London Gold and Silver Spray and got “poisoned” by HG Rebuild of Evangelion plamo (plastic model) Eva-01 Test Type Movie Version.

It is the previous build of a future release version (The Awakening version). I decided to hunt it down for good lol, but really it was very hard to find one nowadays in my hometown.

In 2007, Evangelion 1.0 : You (Are) Not Alone. The movie had been released, and four days ago, my brothers asked me to watch it, and continued to watch the 2nd movie, Evangelion 2.0 : You (Can) Not Advance in the next day. Eva-01 was such a beauty in those movies that makes me remember something. There was once a hobby shop that sold MVR (Movie Realization) Evangelion, and it got rebated to 50% off !! So two days ago, I went to that shop and thanks God, I got the last stock !!!!

And here I want to share my unboxing process of the figure.

For me, this my second action figure (the 1st one was Nendoroid Drossel), so I am very delightful of it. The box is pretty exclusive for me, and the figure itself is tied using metal-wrapped-in-plastic wire which is also being used in SIC (Super Imaginative Chogokin) figure package.

This is the inner side of the package. As you can see there, every single part is being tied up to prevent shaking. I love that matt violet. It is so solid but not too “heavy”. It is just perfect for my taste. But personally, I don’t like the green part in both legs. They are too glossy, and in my opinion, they are not matched up with other matt-colored parts. I prefer the orange one (the same part of the legs, but for F Type Armor, will be shown below).

All of the F Type parts are also in matte color, making them more elegant and give strong characteristic when Eva-01 wears it. By the way, the color scheme used for the F Type parts reminds me of Trans-am version of CelestialBeing Gundam OOs with a little bit more color variation.

This is the second layer of the package. As you can see there, there is also a stand base included, well it is just a normal base, not the good articulated one, but it does make me satisfied. It also comes with the battery charger (the wire on the left), the good-old progressive knife, F Type parts for, I think, the arms. There are also twelve hand parts, in total, six parts for each forms.

And the last, this is the manual sheets for this figure, to guide transforming EVA-01 into the F Type. It is quite descriptive for me, so I presume it won’t be that hard to implement it.

Siang atau Sore ?

[2.11 pm] Aku terduduk sendiri dengan angin sepoi-sepoi melewati kamarku menuju ruang tengah di lantai 2. Sudah lama suasana seperti ini tidak kurasakan sejak November tahun lalu. Suasana begitu hening membuat ku terinspirasi untuk menuangkan pikiranku ke dalam blog ini.

Sembari mendengarkan Shounen Heart by HOME MADE KAZOKU ditemani bunyi rintik-rintik gerimis, aku menikmati setiap detik di depan netbook yang baru saja kuadopsi sekitar dua minggu yang lalu, membuatku terlena hingga saat ini terasa seperti sudah jam lima sore.

All Night Long on Saturday

1.06 am in the dawn and I still could not sleep at all. It’s probably caused by I was overslept from yesterday. When i woke up, all of body’s part seemed not too well, so I got to sleep over and over again. Oh man…

My father went to work from around 9 o’clock until 6-7pm. My mother also went to Pasar Atum with my grandpa and my cousins from 1pm until 5.30 pm. So, as the elder brother, I had responsibility to take care of my own house.

Well, today’s activities were started in the evening, when Januar and Ko Indro along with my brother, Charlie, have come back from Galaxy Mall. They had to prepare themselves for the event held on 6 pm today at Tristar Restaurant. One of their lecturers was going to have a party to celebrate his marriage.

Hm, the other things I had done this day were, hmm,

1. did sms with my friend,
2. painted one of my Gundams parts,
3. watched animes entitled “Soul Eater” and seminar entitled “Technically Funny”,
4. helped my auntie to transfer his phonebook,
5. had chats with my friends.

Ah speaking of which, recently, I had something bothering me. A friend of mine had told me that someone had had something toward me. She asked me whether I had realised it or not. Well the truth, I had “catched” the signal, but I didn’t want to go wrong with my own opinion. I had experienced this situations so many times, and they all ended with my disappointments. And the most important thing was, I don’t want to make things worsen caused by my own emotions. On the other hand, deep inside my heart, I feel lonely, even it’s just a little, but who knows it will grow bigger in the future. It’s really confuse me up.

I guess time will reveal everythings…..

I Hate Monday

Saat ini hanya terpaut tepat lima menit menuju tibanya saat pulang kantor. Phew ! Lelah sekali seharian ini. Banyak pekerjaan ICT yang harus dilakukan, belum termasuk pekerjaan diluar ruangan saya. Tadi pagi sudah harus menyiapkan seperangkat komputer untuk salah seorang kajur. Tidak hanya itu, masih ada urusan tentang SmartCard. Saya harus menelepon beberapa mahasiswa. Hal telepon-menelepon adalah bukan urusan saya, tapi mengapa harus saya lakukan ? Hari Jumat yang lalu, saya tidak bisa melakukan proses foto untuk SmartCard, dikarenakan adanya grand meeting oleh seluruh petinggi UPHs, yah semacam raker begitu deh. Dengan sangat terpaksa, saya harus menunda proses foto tersebut dan menghubungi tiap mahasiswa supaya datang kembali untuk difoto.

Siang tadi, saya tidak lunch, saya hanya memesan segelas Jus Jeruk seharga satu lembar bernilai 4 digit dan berwarna coklat. Ya, saya dalam program penghematan besar-besaran dikarenakan STF 2008 yang berakhir kemarin.

1/100 MG RX-93 Hi-Nu Gundam from SABER

Today, June 7th, 2008, is the second day of STF 2008 which held in Surabaya. What a crowded situation I had there in the exhibition spot. It was just like a traffic jam caused by an accident (just kiddin’ lol).

I arrived approximately around 6.30 p.m there and accidentaly met with my late home-teacher with his girlfriend. We also had a little chat with them, remembering the old times together. I remember that we usually played “Cap-Sa” whenever they went to give additional courses for me and my brothers. We miss that time so much.

I continued my walks around the exhibition searching for action bases. I wanted to buy several of them, even actually I’ve already two of them. I wanted to pose all of the Endless Waltz Heroes. Darn !! I was bad at predicting. The price was quite more expensive than usual, so I cancelled my desire lol. And I continued again going around, looking for, let’s see, maybe there would be a booth with a good price, while I was waiting for my brothers and friends were going around too.

Oh my God, Billy had bought 1/100 MG Freedom Gundam to be his experiment before crafting the 1/100 MG Full Burst Strike Freedom Gundam (poor your Freedom, Kira lol). Not long after that, the other friend, called Dumichen was also buying 1/100 MG Strike Noir Gundam and before the payment (he lent some money from us to buy that item !! What a funny guy), he asked my help to negotiate with the owner whether the price could be more lower. After that, we went to Goota to have a dinner together, since currently Goota have a promotion package of “Pay 1 for 2″.

When the dinner time was over, I went back directly to pick my item on the booth. After that, with no shame, the three of us were going up to the stage and then posed for documentation. People around us were watching us, and it’s pretty made us felt nervous. What a grateful moment at that time lol.

Actually, yesterday on the first day of the exhibition, I’ve had already been there. I had gone there after picking up my brothers in their campus (once also mine too lol). Well, actually, in my mind, I wanted to buy something because it is a big event with big discount held only once in a year. After going around and consulting with my brothers, I had decided to buy “my title” at my friend’s booth. Sadly enough, he didn’t provide the item at the moment. But he told me to come again today to pick my requested item with a discount of 10%. He would take my item from his store at PTC. So that’s why I came again today to the exhibition.
